Manalapan Steps Up to the Light
Manalapan comes into its own from Mar-a-Lago's shadow, with a little help from a billionaire

The Next Palm Beach, declared the WSJ, is Palm Beach South. More precisely, the town of Manalapan. Larry Ellison's purchase of Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa for $277 million last summer was hard to miss. So was his purchase of a 22 acre residential trophy for $173 million.
In hindsight, it's easy to see why being this close to Mar-a-Lago has it's benefits but how has this charming town been quiet so long? It's proximity to Palm Beach is literally unmatched.
For adjacent and decidely more down market Lantana, predictions of a West Palm Beach awakening may be next.
