BD Hotels — the crew behind The Bowery, The Mercer, and The Greenwich — has begun construction of The Nora Hotel in West Palm Beach. Expected to launch Q4, 2026, the Nora Hotel is their first move outside NYC, and they're doing it big

Set in the up-and-coming Nora District, a slick, walkable pocket being built out by NDT Development and Place Projects, The Nora promises the usual BD magic: boutique cool, but with an old-school Florida luxury vibe. It wouldn't look out of place near Mar -a-Lago.

Expect old-school Palm Beach vibes with a BD twist — think Addison Mizner’s Mediterranean glamour meets fresh New York attitude. Gachot Studios is handling interiors (they get it), and Stantec is making sure the place looks good and stays green.f

Big bonus: Stephen Starr (yes, that Stephen Starr) is behind the food. Pastis is landing on the ground floor, and there’s more where that came from — rooftop bars, a pool, private cabanas, and lush gardens all teed up for sunset drinks and people-watching.
