Cadillac Lyriq to Jumpstart GM Stock

GM is launching production of the Cadillac Lyriq in Spring Hill, Tennessee. The Lyriq electric SUV is expected to compete with the Tesla Model Y and to some extent the Ford Mustang Mach-E. The Lyriq is expected to price out at $58,795 which is more than the Mach-E but less than the Model Y.

Can it Jumpstart GM Stock?

GM spent $2 billion dollars updating the former Saturn plant to manufacture the Cadillac Lyriq. Order books open May 19th and the anticipation could be a catalyst for GM’s stock.
