Trilby Hat by Ataahua
A proper Trilby should be both sharp, and rugged enough to stand the test of time. Altaahua’s Cuban Trilby is one such find.
The traditional Cuban coffee roasters’ Trilby hat is beautifully handmade by Ataahua in New Zealand from upcycled Hessian coffee sacks. Wasn’t that fun to say? “Each tailored hat is an original”, promises their website, “patterns vary from hat to hat.”
The Trilby is a sharp way to stroll across the street, newspaper in hand to a late brunch in say, Valle Nevado. Plus, we do like a good story.
