Redrock intros DSLR Cinema Kit
Now that the Canon 5D Mark II DSLR has stunned the world with its 1080p video recording ability, Redrock has announced a cinema kit to make it official.
The Redrock DSLR kit bolts around the camera and adds mounting hardware for proper zoom and focus controls found on traditional cinema cameras. With the Redrock DSLR kit and the Canon 5D Mark II’s stellar video recording ability, the thus far concept-only Red Scarlet has officially been replaced.
The Redrock DSLR kit is expected to be revealed today at PhotoPlus, in New York, and is expected to ship November 1st. Price is TBD, however, Redrock prices are usually quite reasonable relative to the competition. We’re counting on under $1,000 for the kit.
