Gamespot Selects Metal Gear Solid 4 as Game of the Year '08
Top video games site Gamespot.com had a fun voting contest for top video game of the year. The nominees were:
Braid
Burnout Paradise
Fallout 3
Grand Theft Auto IV
Left 4 Dead
NHL 09
No More Heroes
Resistance 2
The World Ends with You
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.
And the winner is…
Metal Gear Solid 4, Guns of the Patriots, which Gamespot described as “flawlessly combining storytelling and gameplay..” which is wrapped within an “exceptional technical shell delivering an immersive experience brimming with heartfelt emotion.” Gamespot also called Metal Gear 4 “one of the greatest games ever made.”
Thank goodness then that Metal Gear Solid 4 is coming to the iPhone! Congrats Metal Gear 4 and the developers at Kojima Productions and publisher Konami.
