Barack Obama's Major Foreign Policy Speech
• In a big push to get the message out about his foreign policy and Commander in Chief credentials, Barack Obama delivered what was billed as a “major foreign policy speech” as well as a second news column, “A New Strategy for A New World“.
• Maureen Dowd’s article, “May We Mock Obama?” is the latest to wonder whether people are too awestruck to make fun of The Golden One. Our site had a piece on it yesterday.
As for the speech itself, according to his campaign: “Barack delivered a major speech on national security and the war in Iraq this morning. He laid out his strategy for using all of the elements of American power to keep us safe, prosperous, and free.”
We couldn’t help but notice that he’s always wearing a lapel now. What say you dear viewers. Good speech? Is that our future Commander In Chief up there or what?
